Tasting- Zonin

Name: Zonin Pinot Grigio
Region:  Venezie
Country: Italy
Year: 2009
Price: 5.95
Shop: Vintage Cellar
Pale straw-yellow color with brilliant reflections.
Delicately fruity bouquet, with outstanding finesse and marked
hints of almond blossom and peaches. Elegant, soft and wellstructured
fruit on the palate, with remarkable freshness and a
clean, persistent aftertaste.
Review: It smelled like butter, pear, kiwi, cherry blossoms or honeysuckle. It tasted tart (as if from a citrus peel), high acid and high alcohol so it has a nice balance, and there is a butter cracker aftertaste.
